Ashley & Huy’s wedding took place at her parent’s home in Sacramento. It was an ultra traditional Vietnamese affair. The groom came with his family to pick up the bride and then we went on to the Buddhist Temple for prayers and elaborate ceremony.

We also went with them to the Sacramento State Capital to take the bridal party pictures. Ashley & Huy are very cute together!

The reception was at the Rice Bowl Restaurant in Sacramento. The special thing with this wedding was that everything was made by the bride’s family! The bouquets and centerpieces looked excellent!! The photo montage made by the couple’s friend was very touching. This was our first time doing table toasting pictures with 550+ people. What an adventure that was!

Rebecca & Jamie picked the beautiful Arboretum at Golden Gate Park for their engagement shoot backdrop. The Arboretum was simply gorgeous and it was a beautiful day for pictures!

Rebecca & Jamie are so cute with each other and just adorable together! They were so open to our ideas and suggestions and just up to do anything!

What a great couple! We can’t wait to do their wedding next year!

It was a beautiful day in San Francisco to take engagement pictures and we were happy to help Michelle & Joseph capture their belated engagement pictures! It was a gorgeous day to take pictures at Baker’s Beach.

We shot their wedding back in June and it was so apparent that they’re newlyweds and so happy in love! I think they must be one of our most cuddly couples!

They actually brought us a gift for doing a great job on their wedding photos. They’re so thoughtful and sweet!

Lennie & Vishwa’s beautiful wedding was located at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco. They made it ultra convinent for their guests by having everything all at one location!

Lennie had the most extravagant and exquisite dress plus train. She was just gorgeous floating around in it!

We also went offsite to take the bridal party pictures before the ceremony at Grace Cathedral. That is one of the best locations to take pictures. The setting makes you feel like you’re in a medieval castle.

Lennie & Vishwa are such an adorable couple. You can tell that their family and friends were so supportive and happy of their union. The Maid of Honor who was also the sister of the bride gave such a cute speech that had the crowd in laughter and tears!

The band and dj had the crowd going til long into the night and you can tell all the guests just had so much fun!!

We had a beautiful day in San Francisco to take Rizza & Trieu’s engagement pictures. We headed up to the Legion of Honor to meet up with them on a Sunday morning.

Rizza & Trieu chose for a more formal engagement shoot and was wearing their dress and suit. Rizza looked beautiful!! They both looked fabulous and her hair/makeup person was great because she made her a sample bouquet just for the shoot! Talk about great customer service!

Rizza also brought a second dress, a traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai to change into. That dress was also beautiful and had a such a vibrant red color for the pictures!

They are such a cute and easy going couple! We had a ton of fun and can’t wait for their wedding early next year!

Last weekend’s wedding was at Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church and the reception was at the New Dynasty Restaurant in Cupertino.

We had a ton of fun shooting this wedding because I was very close to the bride throughout her planning and gave her a lot of feedback and suggestions. She is super sweet and thoughtful!

I thought it was so cute that her mom did her hair and makeup. She did an excellent job!

We went to Stanford University in Palo Alto and the San Mateo Japanese Gardens to take the bridal party pictures before the wedding ceremony. The bridal party ROCKED! They were so much fun to be around and had the greatest expressions! What more can a photographer ask for!

Sue & Greg were such an adorable couple!! Sue is simply beautiful! Greg is so sweet, you can tell how much he loves her each time he looks at her. There were so many touching events at their wedding. When Sue’s brother started crying during their slideshow, I couldn’t help but tear up because it was soooo sweet!

Also I have to add their DJ, Yabata was a ROCK STAR! This was our first time working with him and he had the whole crowd of 480+ people in laughter. He got crowd participation in the hilarious games. I can tell that their guests had a blast!! I’m sure this will be a wedding that they won’t

We flew down to LA for this wedding on Friday night and rested up for the wedding on Saturday. The location for Caroline & Jay’s wedding was at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach. The location was absolutely breath taking and so was the bride!

Caroline must be one of our most organized brides. She had her timeline to us a month and half before the wedding! It’s always great to work with someone that plans ahead.

The weather was gorgeous and the wedding was so much fun! Caroline and Jay were both easy going and was up to doing anything! The flowers and the bridesmaid dresses were so cute! Red just really pops in the pictures. Caroline was absolutely beautiful!

I can tell that Caroline & Jay are a very thoughtful couple because they had personalized favors for each guest. They had a picture frame with the guests pictures in it for each guest. That must’ve taken a LOT of time and thought to do. All of the guests were just ooohing and ahhing over their favors/pictures. They are the sweetest couple!

They also had the cutest kids in their wedding! The ring bearer was just a HAM! He was doing this cute dance all night with Caroline! That was sooo adorable!! The father of the bride was also hilarious. They just really knew how to PARTY! It was a fun wedding for us to shoot! Nothing beats a picture of a sunset by the beach!
