Melanie & Edsel Wedding

We flew back from Los Angeles early, early morning so we wouldn’t miss the getting ready shots of Melanie & Edsel!

This wedding was the at Blackhawk Country Club in Danville. It’s just a fabulous location to have a wedding! Everything was simply gorgeous.

We had the chance to work with the fabulous Nancy Liu Chin Designs! Her work is just so modern and chic!

Melanie is drop dead gorgeous! She is so photogenic! Melanie & Edsel were both great to work with and Edsel is great with driving a golf cart! Speedy! I thought I was going to fly off.

One thing that really stood out to me about this wedding was how much emotion it had. The Maid of Honor gave such a touching speech that I don’t think there was a dry eye in the party! Everyone was sniffing or teary eyed.

Also I thought it was so apparent on how much Edsel loved Mel! When they were watching their slideshow of their past, he was totally bawling! It’s couples like this that make us love photography even more. You can just tell that they’re so in love! Awwww…

Their DJ rocked the house all night and everyone at the wedding was having a blast jamming to the old school music! I loved the playlist!!

Merdie & Ben Wedding

We flew down on Friday to LA for this wedding. The wedding was on Saturday. The ceremony was at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Glendale and the reception was at the Los Angeles Athletic Club in Downtown LA area. We also went to Brand Park for bridal party pictures.

Merdie is absolutely gorgeous! We have never met her before because she was planning her wedding from New York. Merdie and Ben made such a cute couple! You can tell that they were really in love.

A cute thing about Merdie’s wedding was how involved and helpful her family was. Her auntie made all the flowers and her family help setup everything. I thought that was super cute and sweet of her family! Also the Maid of Honor gave a spectular salsa dance performance and they had two people sing at the wedding. They all sounded/danced so professionally! That was great entertainment!

Downtown LA is awesome at night. We went to the rooftop of the Club and took some night city shots. That was really fun!

San & Alex Wedding

We started this wedding at the Garre Winery in Livermore and did the tea ceremony and ceremony for San and Alex. The winery is a very beautiful place and it was a gorgeous day out. Perfect day for a wedding for a couple that’s been together for more than 10 years!

The tea ceremony was a great photo op. It was really fun witnessing a cultural tradition that has been passed on thru the centuries in the Chinese and Vietnamese cultures. Also I love the vibrant colors of the Asian tea ceremonies!

San had the most beautiful dress and she looked simply ravishing in it! Alex is one lucky guy! We also went to Cypress Hotel to take some couple pictures before the reception.

The reception was held at the New Dynasty Restaurant in Cupertino. Ever since the restaurant opened, seems like all the Asian banquets are being held there. It’s pretty interesting to see how different couples decorate the place to give their own unique touch and how the different DJ try to amp up different crowds.

San decorated Dynasty with red lanterns which were super pretty! I can’t believe how long they’ve been together! When I was watching the slideshow I saw pictures of them in high school?? It’s awesome to know that people in love for that long finally married!

The Maid of Honor made such a touching speech that lots of people were in tears! After the table toasts, everyone was busy dancing the night away! That was super fun to take pictures of!

Jennifer & Paco Wedding

We started this wedding at the Renaissance Club Sport in Walnut Creek to capture some getting ready shots for Jenn and Paco.

The ceremony and reception was at one location which was super convinent for guests. It was at the Oakhurst Country Club in Clayton.

Jenn is such a sweet and pretty bride! Really laid back and easy going. I can tell that she is such a caring person because she told her bridesmaids not to worry about about helping her get ready and get themselves ready. That was super sweet of her. They all wore matching Tiffany necklaces, a gift from the lovely bride.

Jenn & Paco are such a cute couple together. One of the things that stood out to me about this wedding was that the whole night, Jenn & Paco were trying to make sure that their guests had a good time by walking table to table to give everyone drinks. The guests had their own bride & groom to serve them drinks. Can a party get better than that?
