Amanda & Steve Wedding

For our second wedding this weekend, Amanda & Steve got married at the rustic gorgeous church, Mission Santa Clara and had their reception the Hyatt Sainte Claire in downtown San Jose. They are such a cute couple!

Amanda is such a photogenic bride! She has one of the sweetest smiles and just glows when she smiles. The camera really loves her! She really shines through the pictures. Maria Chang from Professional Makeup Artistry did a great job with her hair and makeup!

Amanda had an amazing dress, the lace on her dress was fabulous! Also her veil matched her dress perfectly! It was just simply stunning!

One other thing that stood out is how close Amanda & Steve is with their family. You can tell that Amanda’s brothers and parents all adore her! They were all so happy for her and were tearing from the happiness! I thought that was just adorable! Also it was so cute when Steve was mouthing “I love you” to his mom! Such great moments to capture!

Suzi & Leo

For our first wedding this weekend, the wedding ceremony took place at the West Portal Lutheran Church in San Francisco and the reception/banquet was hosted at the Zen Peninsula in Millbrae.

Suzi & Leo were excellent to work with! You can tell that they put in so much effort & thought into the wedding details. I LOVED all their ideas with their green apple theme and the pink and green color scheme. Everything tied in together! From their green apple candy favors, green and pink ribbon for their programs, green apple centerpieces & alterpieces, green and red apple drinks… I can totally tell that this was a well planned out wedding! Each detail was carefully thought out and everything was so cute!

We had the priviledge of working with Jacklyn from Details Wedding Designs. I truly LOVE her work! Her designs ROCK! I love all of her work!

Suzi also had a beautiful dress that she modified! She customized the lace portion and she looked strikingly beautiful! We’ll definitely be adding their pictures to our new website once it’s done.

Also Leo adored Suzi! He was always so sweet to her and gave her his undivided attention whenever she spoke. That was totally adorable!

Irene & Sang Wedding

One of the reasons why we love doing wedding photography is that you get to share a couple’s special day. We have been very fortunate to have had so many great couples that are easy and fun to work with. Irene and Sang definitely are in this category.

The wedding ceremony was located at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Burlingame and the reception was hosted at Zen Peninsula in Millbrae. The ceremony was outdoors right by the Bay and the weather was beautiful!

It’s always fun to see a cultural blend at weddings, lucky Irene got to wear 3 different, beautiful dresses: a wedding dress, chinese dress, and a vietnamese (ao dai). She looked absolutely FAB in all of them!

One thing that stood out from Irene’s wedding was how much fun her bridal party was! They made Irene & Sang play some really hilarious games at the reception and had the whole wedding roaring with laughter! I bet this is a wedding that they won’t forget!

Jocelyn & Kevin Wedding

We shot Jocelyn & Kevin’s wedding on a beautiful August day in San Francisco. The wedding ceremony was at the St. Peter & Paul Church in San Francisco and the reception was located at the Sir Frances Drake Hotel.

Jocelyn wore a beautiful dress and had a chapel veil that looked gorgeous on her. The church was very elegant and the hotel is very ornate! Natalini Flowers by Crispy did a wonderful job with Jocelyn’s flowers and decorated the hotel beautifully! Everything was breathtaking!

Cocktail hour was located on the top floor of the hotel at the Starlight room and had glass windows showcasing a 360 view of the San Francisco bay. I can tell that all the guests were in awe of the gorgeous view, especially Kevin’s parents. I also thought Kevin’s parents were so cute together. He held her hand the whole time while they were looking at the view.

A special moment from this wedding was when Jocelyn’s mom played the piano for the father/daughter dance. That was just adorable!

Christina & Mark Wedding

Christina & Mark got married on one HOT August day at the Wedgwood Wedding and Banquet Center in San Ramon Golf Course.

The wedding ceremony was located right outside of the banquet hall and it was super convinent for the guests.

A couple of things I loved about Christina & Mark’s wedding, not only was Christina a beautiful bride, Mark and her were always laughing and embracing each other. You can tell that they’re so in love.

They also had their cousins perform a Irish tap dance that was super fun to take pictures of because of how high they jumped! It was really entertaining!

Blog of a Bay Area Photographer

There are many things that my hubby Bill and I enjoy doing together. One of them is working together. Especially since we met each other at work and have worked at 3 different companies together and each time we went to a new company, we still sat next to each other. Bill’s my dear hubby, best friend, and my cube buddy.

We started wedding photography shortly after we were engaged. It’s just so much fun to be around the couples on their special day. Each weekend feels like a different party and we have different stars. Since we are newlyweds ourselves, we totally understand what each couple is going through.

We are having a great wedding season in 2005. Honestly we really love what we do so hopefully it reflects in our work. We have been very fortunate that ALL of our couples have been super beautiful and sweet. I can’t think of one person that hasn’t been great to work with.

Because there are unique aspects to every wedding, I wanted to start writing about each wedding. Each wedding is just too much fun not to jott down some of the moments!
